Mo Kagalwala, Ph.D

Early-stage Investor with NuFund Venture Group

Dr. Mo Kagalwala received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and MBA from UCSD Rady School of Management.  Dr. Kagalwala completed postdoctoral fellowships at MD Anderson Cancer Center and the Salk Institute. In 2020, he moved to Immuneering Corporation as Head/Sr. Director of Neuroscience Development where he played a pivotal role in advancing two drug pipelines, and straddled business development leading to successful pharma partnerships, including an IPO exit. Later, Dr. Kagalwala co-founded AlleoLabs, an early-stage biotech company focused on developing precision medicine for CNS diseases. His research topics mainly include Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological disorders over the last 19years. Dr. Kagalwala enjoys mentoring next generation of entrepreneurs at the Basement and StartR programs at UCSD.  

Trevor Wilkins

Health Tech Strategist, Goodie Nation

Trevor Wilkins is a career-long founder, operator, investor, and coach in the early-stage ventures space. A former Forbes 30 Under 30 Nominee, Trevor relocated to Los Angeles as an investor for Quake Capital to help establish their local office. During the pandemic, he served as the VP of Partner Engagement at ScaleHealth, a health innovation marketplace, where he connected payer, provider, and pharma organizations with agile startups. Currently, Trevor leads monthly fireside chats on health tech market trends while helping healthcare startups navigate go-to-market strategies and business operations.

Reza Kazemipour

Reza Kazemipour is the CEO and Founder of SixthRing, a performance and health optimization company leveraging diagnostics, biometrics, and AI to help individuals and organizations operate at their highest level. With over 30 years of global leadership experience across startups, venture capital, and corporate strategy, Reza brings a unique blend of execution, vision, and operational rigor to the human performance space. Kimberly Davis King

Investment Partner, Impact X Capital Partners

Kimberly Davis King has over 25 years of experience in the venture capital industry, with a strong focus on investing in and mentoring startups and high-growth companies. She is currently an Investment Partner at ImpactX Capital Partners and a lecturer at San Diego State University (SDSU). In addition, she serves as a committee member of the Alliance of Healthcare Foundation’s Impact Investment Committee, a Lead FastPath Facilitator and Coach for Founders First Capital, and a Broadway Angel investor. Kim is an advisor and board member to several early-stage and growth-stage companies, including OmniSync, The Good Face Project, New Voice Learning, Founders First Capital, Bump, and Laundris. Over the course of her career, Kim has held senior leadership roles at prominent investment firms. She was a Partner at Hercules Technology Growth Capital and a General Partner at IDG Ventures from 1997 to 2006, where she played an active role in managing and investing a $120 million captive fund. She led multiple investments in software and technology infrastructure companies, including successful IPOs such as F5 Networks (FFIV) and VA Linux (LINUX). Prior to joining IDG Ventures, she was an Associate at BankAmerica Ventures. Earlier in her career, Kim served as a Product Manager in the Multimedia Publishing Group at Microsoft and spent four years as a consultant at Andersen Consulting. She holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
